[EC3382] Transport Economics (by Prof Anthony Chin)

While Prof Chin is knowledgeable in the subject matter, it can be very hard to follow him during lectures as he does not follow his lecture notes (which are not updated from previous years) and covers a very wide scope during lectures. His tutorials are based on students presenting a pre-allocated topic each tutorial, after which the tutor will then give the class some material or points to take note of about the topic. On top of the presentation, a report must also be submitted regarding the topic you are presenting on, which I feel is too much work for just 10%.

A min. 25-page report makes up the 40% project component. However, given that he only allows 2-person groups, the workload for the project can be rather taxing. The final paper is open-book with 4C3 mini essay/structured questions.
