[EC3383] Environmental Economics (by Dr. Parkash)
15% tutorial participation
35% Mid-term
50% Final
A rather mathematical module. In my personal opinion, an essay-approach might have made the content more relevant and interesting. However, the math is manageable, so not to worry even if you don't like math. His tutorial and exam questions are doable, especially if you have prepared well.
He goes through the lecture content in detail, which is a plus point. Lectures can get rather boring, so try to pay attention. It'll be good if you take Microecons II before this module as the micro concepts leant in that module can help you here. Topics covered include externalities, social welfare, public goods, pigouvian taxes, coarse theorem etc.
